Happy Monday, BLENDO Style

Great way to start off the week. My Mid Century blendo bowl set is in TheLogChateau's Treasury West.

I love this bowl- the bright orange color, the shape and size, the attached mini bowl. I thought "mmmm, creamsicle" when I spotted it. This set includes a large punch bowl or chip n dip style bowl with an attached mini bowl and 3 glasses. Perfect for entertaining!



Blendo style (the gradient colored spray on the outside) was popular in the 1960's and translates perfectly to our modern day design. I've attached some of my other favorite blendo's from Etsy too!

Vintage Bridal Gowns

My husband and I went to a wedding last night and now I'm all about vintage dresses. No, the bride did not wear a vintage dress, I just somehow turn everything into a vintage affair in my mind. You could say I see everything through vintage-colored glasses. Hmmmm.... do those exist??

While my wedding dress was vintage-feeling, it was a new gown. Maybe at our vow renewal I'll go real vintage? After searching this morning for dresses, you can count on it!

Here are some dresses I love in various styles. I like all out princess styles, as well as demure and simple. It depends on the day. I'm also in love with these sites. How fun to have a store only selling vintage dresses?

New Vintage in My Shop!

I loaded some new things into my shop today. There are some weird, unique and cute things in this group....check out the vintage brass gorilla bookends and the kitschy basset hound planter...and the huge wooden clothesline clip! Fun stuff!

One of my recent favorite finds - the orange space age mid century tripod lamp. I also found a white beehive tripod lamp - and I'm keeping it!

My vintage modern space age egg lamp made it to another treasury today! Thanks to opendoorstudio for including me in her lovely collection.

I love this lamp. It's hard to part with but I'd be happy to see it go to another vintage-mid century fanatic. These are iconic, hard to find "egg" lamps that embrace the 60's perfectly - minimalism, clean shapes and lines, atomic age inspired and space shapes.
