Trend Alert: YELLOW

It seems the color yellow is popping up everywhere. In flipping through my new Redbook there it was again; a feature on yellow.

I love the idea of adding pops of bright yellow to your space - especially amongst a mid century & vintage decor - or on yourself!

We're Talking About BUTTS People.

Yep. I said butts. I recently listed a set of funny vintage golf tees with little female legs and butts. I used butts in the title and wondered, "Who else on Etsy would actually use butt in their title or description" and on top of that "What might I find if I simply searched "butt""?? Ok, how many times can I say "butt" in one paragraph? This is getting weird!! Oh yeah, it already was....

Here's what I found folks:

Doesn't My Butt Look Great 1950's Fitted Shorts by Carmen and Ginger - Gotta love it!!

description reads "Nice Butt!"

I had no idea what this meant until I read the description: Guy is sitting on the chimney, hence the butt steak!

I may regret dedicating a post to butts later. At the moment it's still kinda funny.

Danish Luv

I'm in love, in love with my new Danish Tripod chairs.

On a recent Las Vegas get away I happened across....okay, I didn't happen across anything....I searched Craiglist ahead of time and set some appointments!

It's true, I simply cannot go anywhere without searching for vintage / mid century things. I could be on a remote island and would be "sure there was some incredible piece waiting to be found". Ugh, it's a sickness. But I like the result.

Check out my new teak mid century danish tripod chairs. They need new upholstery but are already in use in my dining space.

And the fabulous tripod set with nesting chairs designed by Hans Olsen for Frem Rojle.
Circa 1962.
