After some research I've learned that the tulip base on this chair is rare. Typically they were made with a 4-point base. Also, they are usually covered in leather. This is a velvety material.
I was going to sell it but I'm thinking I'd like to hang on to it. I just need to find the space now. What do you think?
These are the primary colors in my living room. So why part with it - right? Come on, try and help me justify keeping yet another one of my finds!

You definitely need to keep this one. It looks like it's crying out for a good home with you. I can just tell. I have experience with pieces that follow me home and won't leave. :)
Keep it. There's always room :)
Thats a fabulous chair! If you decide it needs to find a new home, please let me know. I would love to have it.
It's like Super Light right? I have a blue cloth one in the garage that needs recovered and I sold the orange one. Both are Very light weight! They are made form some sort of styrofoam under the upholstery.
I'd keep it!
I may be starting to hate you. KEEP it! :) I'm totally kidding about the hate. I hate haters. Hope you are well! I'm preparing for my mom's visit and she's one of those iron your bed sheets type of mom's so I'm stressed and tired. LOVE the chair, I die.
A, I know you're kidding - it's all love! I think we share a Mom! Totally get it.
I think I'm keeping the chair. My cats even love it. All of them have slept in it. Fortunately none of them are scratchers!
Mr. Mod, yes, super light weight. It's foam core. I think it's here to stay!
Fun chair!
I've just picked up one of these - also with the rare tulip base. It just so happens that it firs our room colours perfectly. We wouldn't ever sell it, as it's a family item, but we were suprised to find out how rare these are now, and the reproductions are selling for thousands!
