I just had to. What is this? Has anyone seen a swirly arm chair like this?
Browsing Craigslist this morning I came across the headline "Rare Mid Century Chair" $375 and had to click on it to see this "rare" piece. I'm always interested in rarities but this....I've never seen anything like it. It's um, strange, huh?

Pretty interesting specimen. Kind of reminds me of a ram's head with the curls and the white leather. Dunno if I'd be tempted at $375, but I know that these sorts of things are much more valuable out there in CA.
It totally looks like a rams head! Ha ha
I am not a fan of the curly arms myself but it's interesting and different, that's for sure. I'm more of a minimalist girl.
I believe this is a George Mulhauser for Plycraft chair. Just thought I'd mention it.
