The Designs of Sol Bloom

This was a mid century designer I had never heard of until just recently. It appears his scarce designs are a very rare find these days.  He designed for Designs for Moderns and New Dimensions furniture for a very short period in the 1950's.

I came across this incredible Walnut Candle Sconce on A Design Enthusiast blog and fell in love.  Great find Sudha!  It got my heart racing and started a frenzy. I must have my own mid century/danish modern/atomic age candle wall sconce!  Great, a new obsession!

British actor Jason Statham has put his mid century modern Hollywood Hills home on the market.  For just $2.74 million dollars it can be yours!  I'll take it!  Yeah, sure.

Built in 1957, the home is reminiscent of the famous "Glass House" by Phillip Johnson.  It features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a swimming pool.
